JUMBO was developed from whey protein. Dietary protein is a source of nitrogen and essential amino acids, which the body needs for the growth and maintenance of body tissues*. That is why JUMBO promotes the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.* Whey protein from milk is a so-called complete protein, as it supplies the body with all the necessary amino acids, including 9 amino acids (histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine), which are essential for life and must be taken into account, since the body cannot synthesize them.
The determination of the nutritional efficiency of protein in the diet is mostly based on the extent to which the body absorbs and assimilates the protein nitrogen and how it can compensate for the estimated daily nitrogen losses. The physiological utility value (NetProtein Utilization NPU) is the percentage of absorbed nitrogen that is retained by the body, the biological value (Biological Value BV) shows the percentage of absorbed nitrogen that is retained. Therefore, the biological value is the result of physiological utility and digestibility. Recommended consumption
